About Us

The name Iron Castle Construction Company comes from Ken’s time serving in the Army. In  one of his last assignments, Ken commanded the Army’s historic “Iron Castle” Engineer  Brigade. Under his command, the Iron Castle Brigade completed millions of dollars’ worth of  construction projects in fifteen countries across four continents. Ken led the Iron Castle Brigade  to win the Army’s best engineer unit for four consecutive years and honored his unit and his  fellow soldiers by naming his company after the Army’s best engineer brigade: Iron Castle! 

Our company logo is thoughtfully designed to honor Ken and his unit’s distinguished service in  the U.S. Army. At its core, the emblem features a bold red castle crowning a black roofline,  complete with what seems like a simple window below—evoking the warmth and structure of a  home while nodding to a rich heritage of engineering excellence.

The prominent red castle is the iconic symbol of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, one of the  oldest and most revered insignias in American military history, representing fortifications,  innovation, and unyielding strength since the early days of the nation. Below the roofline, the  "window" cleverly incorporates the distinctive patch of the 926th Engineer Brigade. This  diamond-shaped element features the red Cross of St. Andrew, inspired by the Alabama state  flag—reflecting the brigade's headquarters in the Heart of Dixie. It's the very insignia worn  proudly on the uniforms of brigade members, embodying teamwork, resilience, and precision  in the face of challenges. 

Drawing from the Engineer Regiment's traditional palette of scarlet red, black, and white, our  logo infuses every aspect of Iron Castle Construction with these timeless values—delivering  robust, reliable homes that stand as strong as the fortifications they symbolize.
